About Mohawk Valley Apartments.
The idea for Mohawk Valley Apartments started 10 years ago in 1997 when I had to list my house for rent - it's a long story, but anyway I listed it in the local paper for about $80 for one week. So I thought a low cost way for landlords to post their apartments would be a big help to a lot of people.
On the other side when I was younger and looking for an apartment it would have been nice to know what I was getting into before I went to look at the apartment. This thought is especially true for college students not from this area, which is why I included what the apartment is near on the landlord form.
While doing research for this site - whether it was a good idea (jury's still out) I couldn't find any Local websites that listed local apartments, it was pretty frustrating to find listings in Rochester when I wanted listings in Utica.
